Suspect still at large in Friday evening hit-and-run

FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. – The Fort St. John RCMP say that the suspect in the hit-and-run case that happened over the weekend is still at large.

At around 6:30 on Friday evening a 4 year-old was struck by a white SUV in the parking lot of the London Bull pub on 93rd Street. The driver of the SUV fled the scene heading southbound on 93rd. The toddler was not seriously injured in the collision, but was taken to the Fort St. John hospital as a precautionary measure.


The only description of the vehicle provided to police is that the suspect vehicle is an SUV that is white in colour. No license plate number, make, model, or vintage were available.

The Fort St. John RCMP are urging the driver of the SUV to turn themselves in. Anyone with information regarding this incident and/or the identity of the driver or vehicle information is being requested to call the Fort St John RCMP at 250-787-8100 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
