Of The Vine event brings in around $35,000

FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. – Cindy Mohr with the Fort St. John Community Living Association says the 2016 Of The Vine event was a success.

Mohr says that the event raised approximately $35,000.00. She says they are still adding up the final number and waiting for final invoices but that she is thrilled with the number.

“It went really well. I think everything turned out really well. We had lots of donations from local businesses. We’re still waiting for invoices and everything to come out, but I’m estimating that we brought in around $35,000.”

Mohr says she thinks the night overall was great. She says that everything came together in the end. She also noted that the Association puts a lot of effort into making sure that the night is great for everyone and that they get what they are paying for with a $100 ticket.

The wine and food was also a hit Mohr said. Sterling Management donated the wine for this years event. She said the wine that was chosen for the event was a huge hit.
