FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. – The Fort St. John Northern Metalic Bantam Flyers are looking to get back above .500 this weekend with a trio of away games.

The Flyers are coming off three straight losses, including a pair against the Fort McMurray Oil Barons nearly two weeks ago on home ice. After those loasses, head coach Craig Brownlee said that he wants more 60-minute performances from all players, and adds that not showing up to play for stretches of games has cost the team wins. He added that the Bantam Flyers’ coaching staff all feel that this road trip will allow for some team bonding and hockey focus to get back to the level of success the team enjoyed at the start of the season, when they won their first three games in a row.

The Northern Metalic Flyers are playing in Lloydminster tonight at 7:15, before at tilt in Wainwright on Saturday, and in Parkland on Sunday.
