FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. – After a long period of uncertainty when it comes to fire dispatch services in the Peace Region, there will be more waiting to come.

Today at a Regular Peace River Regional District meeting, it was announced that at the last closed door meeting it was decided to start the Request for Proposals process over again.

The process will be discussed with all fire services across the Peace River Region.

Community Interviews with Moose FM


Once staff has met with all fire services within the Regional District to discuss the RFP’s, a report will be brought forward to the board informing them of the results.
