FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. – Police in Fort St. John are looking for a vehicle that was allegedly involved in a hit and run yesterday evening.

RCMP received a report at around 10:45 p.m. that earlier yesterday evening, around 5:30 p.m., a pedestrian who was crossing the road at the corner of 86th Street and 93rd Avenue was hit by a vehicle which left the scene.

Police are saying the caller said that the suspect vehicle may have been a black Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV) driven by an unknown woman.
