FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. – The Fort St. John Huskies will be facing off against a pair of tough opponents this weekend.

Fresh off their 11-1 drubbing of the Beaverlodge Blades last Sunday afternoon, the Huskies will be hosting the Fairview Flyers at the North Peace Arena on Friday night after the Santa Claus parade. The Huskies beat the Flyers in their first encounter on the road 6-1 on October 1st, but lost their second encounter in Fairview 2-1 on October 21st. The Flyers meanwhile are coming off three wins in a row in the last week against the Blades, Vipers, and JDA Kings.

The Pups hit the road on Saturday night for a match-up in Sexsmith against the Vipers. Sexsmith has stumbled in recent weeks after earlier season successes, two of which were against Fort St. John in September and October. Both games were one-goal contests, and in the second game on October 22nd, the Vipers needed overtime to break the Huskies.
