Huskies playing Navigators twice at home this weekend

FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. – The Fort St. John Huskies are back on home ice for a pair of games against a tough opponent this weekend.

The Huskies will be facing off against the North Peace Navigators at the North Peace Arena on Saturday night, and again on Sunday afternoon. The Navs recently overtook the Dawson Creek Jr. Canucks for first place in the NWJHL.

The Navs have won five straight, including a 3-2 win over Dawson Creek last Friday night. The Huskies are coming off a win on the road against the Sexsmith Vipers last Saturday night, and have won 5 of their last seven games.

The puck drops at the North Peace Arena at 8:00 p.m. tomorrow, and at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday.
