FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. – NEAT will be throwing the annual pumpkin plunge this weekend. The event will take place at Home Hardware in Fort St. John.

From 10:00 am to 12:00 pm, you can bring your pumpkins that you have leftover from Halloween and smash them into pieces. Those pieces will composted.

The Northern Environmental Action Team will also have yard waste bin on site for those who didn’t get a chance to bring yard waste to the previous collection dates.

Community Interviews with Moose FM

From 11:00 am to 1:00 pm, you can have a cup of hot soup to keep you warm. NEAT asks that you bring your own mug. The tickets for soup are $2.00 and Cool Beans, Casey’s Pub and Olive Tree will be donating soup for the event.
