DAWSON CREEK, B.C. – Peace River North MLA Pat Pimm is expected to appear in BC Provincial Court this morning for an arraignment hearing.

Pimm is facing a charge of assault in relation to an alleged incident that occurred in Dawson Creek on August 13th. Pimm was previously scheduled to be arraigned on October 4th, however the hearing has been pushed back on two occasions after Pimm’s lawyer told the judge on those two occasions that he had not received or reviewed files that are pertinent to his client’s case.  A publication ban has been imposed on the name of the alleged victim.

The hearing is scheduled for this morning at 9:30.
