FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. – The Peace River Regional District is looking for professional equipment contractors to conduct stream rehabilitation in the areas of Chetwynd, Moberly Lake, and Pouce Coupe.

The required works will include:

  • Channel excavation
  • Bedload and large woody debris removal
  • Bank resloping
  • Rock placement
  • Ditch construction
  • Debris deflector installation
  • Revegetation

The PRRD says work could begin as soon as November 28, 2016. They say this depends on ground conditions. The work must be completed by March 31, 2017.
