UPDATE:  As of 5 p.m., the Highway is now open in both directions.

FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. – According to calls has received and DriveBC, there is what appears to be a semi-truck fire north of Sweetwater Road just north of Farmington.

DriveBC is saying Highway 97 is closed in both directions. Detour is via Road #6 Sweetwater, then onto 239W Miller Rd and back out to Hwy 97N.
