FAIRVIEW, AB – Police in Fairview arrested a man who has been wanted for over 20 years.

In the evening on December 6, 2016, RCMP in Fairview located and arrested Rupert William Burr. Burr was wanted Canada wide for sexual offences that took place in Prince George in 1993.

Burr is being held in custody and will be transported back to Prince George next week. He is expected to make his first court appearance when he returns to Prince George.
