GRANDE PRAIRIE, AB – Police in Grande Prairie are investigating a incident where a shot was fired, injuring a male.

Yesterday around 2:45 a.m., RCMP received a report of a male who was in hospital suffering from what appeared to be a gunshot wound.

Police say the male was treated for his injuries and then released.

RCMP are saying they do not believe the incident is random but also say there is no risk to the public. The incident remains under investigation.
