FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. – The Fort St. John Huskies have been officially announced as the host team of the 2018 Hockey Alberta Junior ‘B’ Provincial Championships.

Hockey Alberta made the announcement yesterday, confirming that Fort St. John will be the host city, along with Bonnyville hosting the Senior ‘AA’ championships.

The Fort St. John Huskies meanwhile are hitting the road for a pair of games in Peace River against the North Peace Navigators this weekend for their final games of 2016.

Huskies coach Todd Alexander says that the team is healthy and will be bringing a full roster to Peace River. He says that the team has been building in practice this week on last weekend’s win in Grande Prairie against the JDA County Kings.

The Huskies take to the ice against the Navs on Saturday night at 8:00, and again on Sunday afternoon at 3:30. Both games will be streamed on the Huskies Ustream page:
