FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. – The City of Fort St. John has scheduled a Public Hearing for January 9, 2017 in the Council Chambers for the proposed building of a new Anglican church.

Official Community Plan Amendment Bylaw No. 2364, 2016 and Zoning Amendment Bylaw No. 2365, 2016 were introduced and read for the first and second times by title only recently.

The Anglican Church held a open house on November 23rd, outlining construction and placement plans. The land proposed for the new church is located at 8907 – 112th Avenue.

The City will send direct mail notifications to those within 100 metres of the proposed building site informing them of the public meeting date. There will be newspaper ads for the general public.
