FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. – Registration is now officially open for the 6th Annual Crystal Cup Pond Hockey Challenge.

This will be the sixth iteration of the Crystal Cup, which was originally held in conjunction with the High on Ice Festival. This year’s tournament will run on the weekend following High on Ice, from Friday, February 17th to Sunday, February 19th. The tournament is held on the south end of Charlie Lake near Jackfish Dundee’s with 10 cleared ice surfaces measuring 140×70 feet.

Registration packages are now available for download on the tournament’s website, or can be picked up at Sports Experts in the Totem Mall where the Crystal Cup itself is now on display. The women’s division Sapphire Cup will also be returning this year, and all ladies teams are encouraged to register in advance through Sport’s Experts in the Totem Mall.
