FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. – The City of Fort St. John is once again offering the tree rebate program for 2017.
To be eligible for the rebate, you have to follow these steps:
- Purchase a tree or shrub rated for growing in Zone 1, 2 or 3 from any retailer
- Fill out a tree rebate form (available online or from City Hall)
- Bring your original purchase receipt and tree tag with your completed form to City Hall between May 8 and July 28
- Receive up to a $50 rebate on your City of Fort St. John homeowner utility account
Each Fort St. John utility account associated with a Fort St. John address is eligible to apply for 2 rebates.
The City says the rebates will only be processed at City Hall from May 8 to July 28 during regular business hours. Emailed forms and receipts will not be accepted.
There is a minimum of 325 rebates available. Rebates are available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
