FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. – The North Peace Family SuperPark Society is planning on applying for a $250,000 prize from Kraft Canada.

Kraft Heinz Project Play says they are helping to build a better future by building better places to play in communities across Canada.

Jaandi Roemer with the North Peace Family SuperPark Society says that the group will be holding their own event to create a video.

“It can be whatever we want. We were thinking about doing a video that basically gets the community involved in talking about what we have for recreation and why a indoor playground is so badly needed. We want to get that conversation going between families and kids, what their thoughts would be on having an indoor playground.”

The event is scheduled for July 25 from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., with a location still to be determined.

The SuperPark Society is looking for people to be involved in the video. If you would like more information, call (250) 262-2703 or visit https://www.facebook.com/npsuperpark/.
