Textile artists set to be on display this weekend at North Peace Cultural Centre Art Market

FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. – The North Peace Cultural Centre will be hosing their second Art Market this weekend.

On July 8, they will be showcasing local Textiles Artists and their processes. The event is scheduled to run until 3:00 p.m.

The Cultural Centre says they will have the North Peace Spinners and Weavers Guild and the FSJ Country Quilters Guild onsite providing free demonstrations, kids activities as well as products for sale.

The Alaska Highway Roadshow will also be making an appearance starting at 11:00 a.m. featuring: Dori Braun, Deb Butler, Bill Dolan and Justin Taylor, Dave McGowan, Barb Munro and Virginia Carraway Stark.

The North Peace Museum will have Alaska Highway historical displays at the event and food will be available to purchase to support the Northern Dance Theatre Society.
