2017 Moose FM Block Party Schedule released

The Moose FM Block Party presented by the Telus Pure Fibre is back for 2017 on Saturday September 9, 2017!! Three blocks in the downtown core will be closed all day for all the fun.

This year the schedule includes even more street performers including Flying Bob who will build a 60 foot tight rope across 100 street. The Circus of Hell returns bringing their family performance to the Block Party. We also have Miranda Allen Entertainment joining the fun with acrobatic stilt walking, whips, escape, fire, and more. Plus the Great Balanzo is back with his amazing performance for kids. All the of the performers are sponsored by BCLC and flown to Fort St. John thanks to Central Mountain Air.

See all the street performers on either the Burger King stage (located at 100 street and 100 avenue) or the City of Fort St. John stage (located at 100 street and 103 avenue) between 11 a.m. and 6 p.m.

The Block Party also has some amazing local talent including Tanisha Ray, Lockie Knight, Amanda van Nostrand, the Northern Dance Theatre Society and performances from the Fort St. John Multicultural Society.

To top that all off there is the Peace Valley OSB presented the Arts Market that will be full of local vendors. There are still spaces available if you’d like to be apart of the 2017 Block Party.

And we’ve left the best for last. The Kidz Zone is back with human hungry hippos organized by Neat, the FSJ Library, street hockey with the Encana Events Centre and City of FSJ and more.

All this happens between 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. on Saturday September 9, 2017.
