GRANDE PRAIRIE, A.B. — The Grande Prairie RCMP are asking for the public’s help in locating two suspects in a mugging that occurred over the weekend.

Police say they responded to a robbery complaint in the area of Kateri Drive and 71st Avenue in Grande Prairie at approximately 7:00 p.m. Sunday. The lone male victim reported that two men travelling in a dark-coloured truck demanded his belongings and then assaulted him. The man sustained minor injuries in the altercation.

Police are asking anyone who may have witnessed the incident, and area residents who have a video camera that captures the sidewalk or road to call the Grande Prairie RCMP Detachment at 780-830-5700, or Crime Stoppers at 1.800.222.8477 (TIPS).
