GRANDE PRAIRIE, A.B. – The Fort St. John Huskies outplayed the County of Grande Prairie JDA Kings Friday night, winning 8-0.

Darion Fay scored the first goal for the Huskies followed by a goal from Matthew Apsassin on the power play late in the first period.  In the second, Aiden Tegart and Darion Fay picked up two more goals for the Huskies.

The third period was much of the same as Cody Brodhagen, Sebastian Powsey, Shawn Wilson and Jeridyn Loewen each scored a goal.

Jonathan Bateman played the entire game in the net and stopped 32 shots.

The Huskies remain in second place in the NWJHL, only two points back of the Dawson Creek Junior Canucks, but the Canucks have played three more games than the Pups.
