Huskies suffer second OT loss of the weekend

DAWSON CREEK, B.C. – The Fort St. John Huskies travelled to Dawson Creek Sunday afternoon for their third game in three days.

The Junior Canucks came away with the win, 4-3 in overtime.  The Huskies started the scoring in the first period with a power-play goal from Jeridyn Loewen.  Then shortly after that, Aiden Craig-Steele scored a second for the Huskies.

Then the Junior Canucks answered back with a goal from Griffin Young and a power-play goal from Dustin Bahm.

The Junior Canucks were the only ones to scored in the second with a goal early on from Dustin Bahm.

In the third period, the Huskies tied the game with just under seven minutes to, with a goal from Geoff Dick.  That pushed the game into overtime.

Alex Richardson from the Canucks scored only three minutes into OT to give Dawson Creek the 4-3 win.

This was the second overtime loss for the Huskies this weekend.  Friday night they also lost to the North Peace Navigators 4-3 in OT.
