Local hotel picks up several big company awards

FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. — The Home2 Suites by Hilton in Fort St. John and two of its staff members have won several of the Hilton hotel chain’s biggest awards.

General Manager Christina Seguin and Sales Manager Nadya McLean travelled to New Orleans last week for the Hilton All Suites Conference. At the conference, McLean was awarded the Sales Excellence Award, while the hotel and its staff won both the Highest Extended Stay Percentage Award of Merit and the Connie Pride of Excellence Award, which is the highest recognition award through Hilton brand.

In a post on the hotel’s Facebook page, the two stated that, “All this would not be possible without the help of our amazing team, corporate and community partners and of course our incredible guests!”

McLean added that the hotel’s staff is looking forward to 2018 and its second full year of operating in the Energetic City. The hotel opened in September 2016
