FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. – Twenty-two-speed skaters from British Columbia were selected this week to represent the province for the upcoming Canadian Age Class Long Track event in February.

The team is comprised of eight skaters from the Peace Region who were chosen for the event after their performances at last weekends Provincials. Emma North, Sidney Bennie, Hannah North, Brooke Braun, Nicholas Guliov, Nyam Newlove and Joshua Telizyn of Fort St. John were named to the team. Brynn Hallam was the long skater from Dawson Creek.

This is an age restricted event as the Girls age group will consist of 11- to 14-year-olds, while the Boys group is made up of 12- to 15-year-olds.
