GRANDE PRAIRIE, A.B. – Grande Prairie RCMP have recommended charges of sexual assault and aggravated assault against a 39-year-old man from Nova Scotia.

The chargers have been laid following a complaint received on January 21, 2018.  Joshua Higgins has been charged with Sexual Assault and Aggravated Sexual Assault.

Higgins has been remanded in custody until his court appearance in Grande Prairie Provincial Court on January 24, 2018.

As this matter is before the courts no further updates will be made available.
