FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. – The North Peace Hockey League’s playoff schedule was released this week.

The Fort St. John Flyers will meet the Grande Prairie Athletics on February 1st as part of the twelve game playoff-style round robin for the Western Division teams consisting of the Flyers, Dawson Creek Senior Canucks and Athletics. Each team plays eight games. First place will get a bye with the third and second seed teams meeting in a one-game showdown on February 27th. The winner of that contest with play the first place team with the victor advancing to the best of seven series final versus the Eastern Division champion.

In the meantime, The Flyers have one game remaining regular season in Dawson Creek on Sunday. If they win and Grande Prairie losses they will claim first place and home-ice advantage in the event of a tie-breaker in playoff standings.
