FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. – The North Peace Secondary School’s sports teams were busy this past weekend.

The Junior Boys Basketball team was in Prince George for the DP Todd Tournament. The Boys came home with a silver medal after losing to Duchess Park in the finals.

The Junior Girls Basketball team was in action at the Duchess Park Qualifier Tournament. The team had a solid weekend but failed to advance to represent the north at provincials.

While the Girl’s Curling team won every game they played culminating with a 11-7 victory over Tumbler Ridge in the finals, booking themselves a spot in Langley for the B.C. Curling Provincials.

The Senior Boys and Girls will head down Highway 97 to Dawson Creek in a two series set for both schools as a warm up for the upcoming Zones in February.
