SHAWINIGAN, QUE. – Team Tardi advanced to the championship round semi-finals at the New Holland Canadian Junior Curling Championships on Friday.

In morning action the team came back to defeat the top-seeded Northern Ontario 6-5 after scoring two in the tenth end improved their record to 7-3 and into a second-place tie with three other teams.

The boys from out Langley, B.C. then snuck past Alberta in a tie-breaker 5-4 in eleven ends and will now meet Manitoba on Saturday at 4:00 p.m. for a berth in the finals with Northern Ontario.
