Dawson Creek-bound Greyhound bus crashes north of Prince George


PRINCE GEORGE, B.C. — A Greyhound bus headed to Dawson Creek from Prince George slid off Highway 97 Friday morning, injuring one person.

According to CKPG News, the bus slid off the Hart Highway south of Bear Lake at around 4:00 a.m. One of the 11 passengers on board suffered minor injuries and was transported to a hospital. The driver and his ten remaining passengers were taken to a church nearby while another bus was brought in to allow the trip to resume.

Mounties say road conditions at the time of the crash were slick after a light snowfall during the overnight hours.
