FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. – The Fort St. John Flyers are set for the sixth game of their round-robin style playoffs in Grande Prairie Thursday night.

The Flyers are coming off an overtime thriller versus the Dawson Creek Senior Canucks on Tuesday, improving their record to 4-0-1 and a four-point lead over the Sr. Canucks for first overall in the NPHL West Division playoff standings. The boys in blue and white know there’s a lot riding on the game tonight for both teams, especially the Athletics.

“A must-win game for Grande Prairie,” said General Manager Lee Hartman. “We are expecting a tough game tonight in their barn. A win by us [Flyers] would end Grande Prairie’s playoff hopes.”

Tonight’s date with the Athletics gets underway at 8:30 p.m.
