FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. – The Fort St. John Flyers are set for the NPHL Finals either the Falher Pirates or the High Prairie Regals.

The Flyers, who were last on the ice February 15th for a 6-4 win over Grande Prairie, advanced to the league finals after Dawson Creek fell to the Athletics last weekend eliminating both teams from the playoffs. The Pirates can win their best-of-seven series tonight against High Prairie, as they lead the series 3-0.

“Both are very offensive teams,” said General Manager Lee Hartman. “Falher has added a bunch of Spirit River Rangers so they have a bunch of playoff experience and I think that will push them to the finals. It will be a tough final with the teams three and a half hours apart. Tuesday and Thursday’s games will be hard to get the full team out for the trips.”

Puck drop on the NPHL finals gets underway on March 3rd, at the North Peace Arena. Puck drop is at 8:30 p.m.
