Flyers set to tango with Senior Canucks

FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. – The Fort St. John Flyers are set to hit the road for a contest in Dawson Creek on Thursday night.

The Flyers defeated the Grande Prairie Athletics on Tuesday to improve their record to 3-0 in the playoffs. The first place team after the eight-game playoff round-robin schedule advances to the NPHL finals.

“Games get more important as we go,” said General Manager Lee Hartman. “Dawson needs to put some points on the board this week so I expect a big effort from them tonight. I think our guys will be ready. It should be a great game.”

Thursday night’s clash with the Senior Canucks gets underway 8:30 p.m.
