FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. – It’s day two of the annual High on Ice Winter Festival.  There are a number of events happening on Saturday in Fort St. John to celebrate including the Mayors Carving Challenge, Horse Drawn Sleigh Rides, Toboggan and Snowshoe Races, Soup Stock, Live Music and more.

The weather has improved just in time for the festival.  Environment Canada says the temperature should increase to minus 10 Saturday afternoon, but it could be a little windy.  The wind could reach 30 km/h from the southwest before dropping to 20 km/h by late afternoon.  Sunday might be a little bit cooler at minus 18 and Monday should be minus 8.
