FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. — Artists from Fort St. John and Tumbler Ridge are in the running for CBC Music’s Searchlight national contest.

In addition to Scarlet Sway from Dawson Creek, Fort St. John-based singer/songwriter Adam Winn and Tumbler Ridge-based duo The Mechanical Botanicals are also in contention to win the annual CBC contest. Voting is now officially open until March 19th.

If either Winn or the Botanicals get enough votes and wow Searchlight’s panel of judges, they’ll get to partake in a residency at the National Music Centre in Calgary, and will get to perform at JUNOFest 2019.
