FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. — The Nenan Dane zaa Deh Zona Family Services Society is holding its ‘Have a Heart for First Nations Children’ fundraiser until Valentine’s Day.

Nenan is accepting donations at its office on 102nd St. for the campaign, which began on February 6th and wraps up on February 14th. Fundraiser organizer Judy Mason said Nenan is raising money to give First Nations children in the Fort St. John area the chance to grow up safely, in good health, with a good education, and to be proud of their cultures.

Anyone that donates to the campaign will have their name entered into a draw to win a pair of moccasins that were handmade by Fort Nelson First Nations member Adeline Dickie. The draw for the moccasins will be done at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday.

For more information, or to donate, drop by the Nenan Dane zaa Deh Zona Family Services Society office at 10615 102 St.
