FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. – The North Peace Secondary School’s Basketball teams hit the court over the weekend.

The Junior Boys travelled to Dawson Creek for the Northern Zones were they placed fifth. Liam Peterson was named team MVP in all four of the team’s games.

Meanwhile, the Junior Girls headed to Prince George for Provincials, where they finished fourth overall. Mackenzie O’Brien, Kaylie Willeboordse, Alandra Herrling and Jordynn McPherson were named MVP in their respective games.

Community Interviews with Moose FM

The Senior Boys and Girls are in preparation mode as they ready for Provincials in Langley at the end of February. They are currently selling power cards to assist with the cost of their trip down south.

The Senior Girls Curling team is also honing their skills as they are set to head south to New Westminster for the B.C. Curling Provincials in early March.
