DAWSON CREEK, B.C. — Local musical group Scarlet Sway, who has performed at Northern GrooveFest, CanolaFest, and GrizFest in addition to a host of other local music venues, has officially entered CBC’s Searchlight contest.

Searchlight is an annual competition by CBC Music to discover up-and-coming musicians from across the country. Voting is now officially open until March 19th, and Scarlet Sway is looking to get the vote of Peace Region residents.

If the group passes the voting stage and a panel of judges, they’ll get to partake in a residency at the National Music Centre in Calgary, and will get to perform at JUNOFest 2019.
