TAYLOR, B.C. – Taylor District Council was presented with a draft of a new Communications and Engagement Plan at Monday’s committee of the whole meeting.

The plan draft was presented by Community Services Director Laura Prosko, outlining what the best way was for Council to communicate with District residents, staff, and media personnel in the event of a big project, media inquiries, or an emergency.

“It’s a communication plan for the municipality,” said Mayor Rob Fraser. ”We’ve asked Laura to have a look at it after the courses we have taken as a whole engagement piece. She took it as an opportunity to look at the whole thing. She presented a draft, we gave her our feedback for edits and to present it at a future meeting.”
