FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. – The Fort St. John U-16 Boys Soccer Strikers team was in Alberta over the weekend for tournament action.

In Saturday mornings clash with Leduc, the boys won by the score of 5-1. Later that day they improved to 2-0 after defeating Calgary West SC 3-1. On Sunday morning versus Airdrie, the Strikers found themselves down 3-0 at halftime only to score three goals in the second half and leave the game with a tie. In the finals, the team lost to the Edmonton Extreme FC by the score of 4-1 resulting in a silver medal for the boys.

This was their second tournament of the season since moving up to Tier 2.
