EDMONTON, AB. – The Fort St. John U-17 Girls Northern Strikers were in Edmonton for EIYSA Tier 1 League action over the weekend.

In the first game, early Saturday the girls lost 3-1 to the second place Scottish FC, with the lone goal courtesy Maelynne Wan, assisted by Emma Lang. The match saw the team lose to the third-seeded Victoria FC by the score of 3-0.

This marked the end of the teams 14 game season in Edmonton. The team placed sixth out of seven teams with a 1-10-3 record.
