Child Development Centre raises over $75,000

Staff from Moose FM and the CDC joined together with Arctech Welding and Machining and Save on Foods to host an annual radiothon.

FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. – The Fort St. John Child Development Centre has raised over $75,000 towards a new wheelchair accessible van.

The 44th Annual Talent Show Friday night saw performances from local musicians, children who attend the CDC and even a performance from Fort St. John City Council.  Performers, attendees and local businesses donated $75,120 towards the fundraising goal.

Arctech Welding and Machining and Save on Foods also helped towards raising money for the CDC with the annual radiothon held each year on Moose FM the day before the talent show.

The funds will be used to purchase a new wheelchair accessible van for the Fort St. John Child Development Centre.  Their current client vehicle isn’t wheelchair accessible and has been in use for some years.
