FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. – The Fort St. John Huskies hit the ice for Game 3 of their NWJHL playoff series against the Grande Prairie JDA Kings Thursday night.

The Huskies are coming off a game where they held a 2-0 advantage in the first period, only to let it slip away midway through the third frame. The two teams have split the opening two games of the best-of-seven series.

“It comes down to effort,” said General Manager Jeremy Clothier. “We have been stuck in the mud not moving our feet for the better part of the series so far. So if we can get our feet moving and skate then we will be fine. We have a very fast team when we are firing on all cylinders and that’s the team that we have to be tonight. Get back to the things that made us successful throughout the regular season.”

Thursday’s Game 3 is set to get underway at 8:00 p.m. at the North Peace Arena.
