Busy weekend ahead for Huskies as they finish regular season

FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. – The Fort St. John Huskies have a busy weekend ahead of them as they wrap up the regular season.

The Huskies are on the road Friday as they visit the Sexsmith Vipers for the third final game of the Regular Season.

The last time the Pups met with the Vipers was at a home game on January 18. It was a close game, going into overtime. In the end, the Vipers won the game 4-3 over the Huskies.

The Huskies are on the road tomorrow night, Friday, as they take on the Vipers. Game time is 8:00 p.m. at the Sexsmith Arena.

Currently, in the NWJHL Standings, the Huskies are in second place with 45 points; one point behind the first place Dawson Creek Junior Canucks.

Then on the weekend, the Huskies are home for two games as part of their Fan Appreciation Weekend.

The second last game of the regular season takes place on Saturday, February 16, as the Pups host the Fairview Flyers. Puck drop is 8:00 p.m. at the North Peace Arena.

Then on Sunday, the Huskies will host the JDA County Kings for the final game of the regular season. Game time is 2:00 p.m. at the North Peace Arena.
