City of Fort St John reminds residents to stay out of Centennial Park during Ice Festival preparations

FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. – With the 2019 Pembina High on Ice Winter Festival quickly approaching, the City is reminding residents to stay out of Centennial Park during setup.

The City is requesting that the public stays out of Centennial Park and off the
ice slides until the opening ceremonies on Friday, February 15.

According to the City, in order to access parking at the North Peace Leisure Pool, the main entrance off of 100 Street is currently blocked and will remain closed throughout the weekend.

The event held at Centennial Park will run throughout the Family Day long weekend from February 15 to the 18.
