FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. – With the regular season winding down, the Fort St. John Huskies would like to show their fans some appreciation.
This weekend, February 16 and 17, the Huskies will be finishing the regular season at home and will be holding a Fan Appreciation Weekend.
Huskies President, Micheal Bacso, says the Huskies will be giving away free coffee for a year courtesy of Tim Horton’s.
“On Saturday night, we’re giving away, basically, it’s coffee for a year. Ron and Julia Bowie, who own the Tim Horton’s, are giving away a Tims Card. Basically, you can buy a large coffee every day for a year.”
Bacso also says this is the last weekend that the free kids Huskies tickets can be used.
“These will be the last two games that the Huskies tickets will be good for, that we give out to kids, so we recommend using them as they’re not good for playoffs.”
The Huskies Fan Appreciation Weekend is this weekend, February 16 and 17, at the North Peace Arena.
On Saturday, the Huskies will be hosting the Fairview Flyers with game time at 8:00 p.m.
Then on Sunday, the Huskies will be finishing the regular season as they host the JDA County Kings. Puck drop is 2:00 p.m.
