As part of a weekly feature, Nolan was met at the rink to talk about himself and his team effort.

  • How long have you been with the Huskies?

Nolan: “This would be my second season.”

  • What position do you play?

Nolan: “Right-winger.”

  • How would you describe your style of play?

Nolan: “I like to be physical, like down low in the corners, hold the puck down low, battle hard, and I also like playmaking.”

  • Favourite moment with the Huskies?

Nolan: “When we won the championship last year in Peace River.”

  • Favourite hockey team?

Nolan: “Pittsburgh Penguins.”

  • Favourite player?

Nolan: “Sidney Crosby.”

  • What music do you like?

Nolan: “Mostly dance music, pump up for the game; rap usually.”

  • What’s your favourite food?

Nolan: “Chicken, usually before the game, or rice.”

  • What do you hope for the future?

Nolan: “Right now it’s work and then college, that’s about it.”
