Midget Predators win at home on Friday night against Bantam B Boys

FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. – The Northeast B.C. Midget Predators female hockey team were home on Friday night as they hosted the Bantam B Boys.

In period one, the Predators managed to score three goals.

Kaelie Morton scored the first goal with an assist by Jordyn Larson.

The second goal was scored by Hannah Piket with assists by Jordyn Larson and Kaelie Morton.

The third goal of the period came from Bralin Willich with a feed from Mikayla Loewen and Jerzi Westgate making the score 3-0 as they headed into the second period.

The Bantam B Boys scored one goal on the Predators late in the second frame, making the score 3-1.

In period three, Jaycee Bird scored a goal with assists by Payton Bowen and Kasey Ditner making the score 4-1.

Then with 2:58 left in the game, the Bantam B Boys scored a goal making the final score 4-2 for the Predators.

Mikayla Loewen was voted MVP, and Cheree Peters received Coach’s Pick.

Up next, the Midget Predators are in Fort Nelson, on March 15 to the 17, for a Tournament.
