NEBC Yukon Bantam Trackers qualify for Provincial Championships

FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. – The Northeast B.C. Yukon Bantam Trackers had a busy weekend on the road.

On Friday, February 8, the Trackers headed to Thompson for two games to take on the Blazers.

In game one, after a tough battle, the Trackers fell 4-1 to the Blazers.

In game two, on Saturday, the Trackers were looking to even the series but were unsuccessful as the Blazers beat them again, this time 12-3.

Following the games in Thompson, the Trackers were off to Prince George to take on the Yukon Rivermen, on early Sunday morning, for the Provincial Playdown Semi-final game.

After a great performance, the Trackers beat the Rivermen 5-2. This would advance the Trackers to a game against theĀ East Kootenay Ice.

Following another great play, the Trackers swept the game 4-0 over the Ice.

Up next, the Bantam Trackers are off to theĀ Tier 1 Provincial Championships in Prince George.
